HOT – Operation Creamed Corn

The Young Adult Professionals (YAP) is holding a canned food drive called "Operation Creamed Corn" that will help feed local families at Thanksgiving this year.  To help the local families who are suffering from layoff or the slow economy, the Chamber will be receiving donations of non-perishable food for this drive until November 17th.  Chamber hours are M-F 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.  For more information, call the Chamber at 574-267-6311, or email mgoble@wkchamber.com.

  YAP Lunch Club November 12

The Young Adult Professionals (YAP) will meet for their monthly lunch held on the second Wednesday of every month at 12 noon.  On November 12th, the lunch will be held at Cerulean Restaurant & Sushi Bar.  Each person is responsible for their own lunch.  To attend, please contact yap@wkchamber.com.

Tower Bank is holding a Business After Hours on Wednesday, November 12th, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at their location at 120 N. Education Summit November 20

On November 20th, the Education Committee of the Chamber of Commerce will be holding Education Summit XIV at Lakeland Christian Academy, in Warsaw. 

The Education Summit was designed to unite businesses, educators, and students to achieve an understanding of the needs of each group to create a better educational environment throughout Kosciusko County.

 This year’s Summit theme will be:  Building a Better Community — Uniting Cultures Through Education.  Keynote speaker will be Juana Watson, Senior Advisor for Latino Affairs in the Office of the Governor, State of Indiana.  The Keynote address will be followed by panel discussions from local teachers, students, employers, and community leaders.

The event is sponsored by:  KDI, Lake City Bank, Teachers Credit Union, Warsaw Community Schools, and Zimmer.  There is no cost to attend.  If you are interested in attending, call the Chamber at 574-267-6311, or email info@wkchamber.com.

Crownover Jewelers is holding a Business After Hours on Wednesday, December 10th, from 4:00 to 6 p.m. at their location at 104 E.
